After having glorious weather in April, weather had been a bit wet and unsettled in May. However, this hasn’t dampened our spirits and our members had been having fun in Ackers bellboating and going to visit Atwell Farm in Redditch.
We had two sessions of bellboating in Ackers, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The sun was out in the morning but rain and hail came down just half an hour before the start of the afternoon session. Fortunately the hail stopped and the rain eased eventually. The kids were amazing and had not been put off by the cold and wet weather.
We visited Atwell farm in Redditch the weekend before the second phase of easing of covid restriction so we didn’t get to play in the indoor barn area but the children (and their parents) really had fun on the giant jumping pillow. They also had a go at feeding the animals, going on the fire engine and driving those mini tractors. We will surely go back once more restrictions are eased.
